Redwood Forest

Our Redwood Forest honey comes from our hives that live near the redwoods of Mendocino county. These bee's have a taste for the flowers of the unique native tanoak tree that grows alongside conifers, typically found along the coastal range of California and Oregon. This is the most unusual honey we offer, with a strong flavor similar to Molasses. When freshly harvested, it has a slight bitter hint that mellows as the honey ages. If you like to try unusual honey, this will be your cup of tea.
